DUBUQUE (KWWL) -
A Dubuque elementary school is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. As a part of the celebration, Bryant Elementary School held a "Bryant Bulldog Walk-A-Round."
Many participated in the Walk-A-Round including; students, teachers, alumni and parents. The group made a couple of rounds walking around Bryant Elementary School. Lunch and other activities were also included in Saturday's Walk-A-Round.
Vicki Sullivan is the principal at Bryant Elementary School.
"I think kids need to hear the stories and understand that they are actually making history now as well," she said. "We also want to give them a chance to show appreciation and gratitude for the people that have worked so hard on their behalf."
The walk is part of a fundraiser for the school which has so far raised more than $11,000.
