Iowa Board of Regents hosts hearing in Cedar Falls

Posted: Updated:
CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Cedar Falls residents had a chance to voice their concerns to the Iowa Board of Regents Thursday.

As part of their goal to be more open and direct with people, board representatives will now hold monthly hearings at each of its five schools, which will be recorded and sent to the board for review before their meetings.

Cedar Falls resident Rosemary Beach came to discuss the lack of communication regarding the closing of price lab and the university of northern iowa museum.

While Beach thinks that a face-to-face meeting would be more beneficial, she appreciates the hearings and hopes that others will take advantage of them.

The next public hearing will be November 21st at noon at the UNI Business and Community Services building.
