Two hospitalized after crash on Hwy. 218 in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY (KWWL) -
Two people were taken to the hospital after a semi-truck rear-ended a car on Highway 218 in Johnson County on Tuesday night.
The Iowa State Patrol says both vehicles were headed south on Highway 218, at mile marker 83, just after 10 p.m. when the accident happened.
The driver of the semi, 74-year-old Dick L. Grover of Sioux City, and the driver of the car, 56-year-old Cynthia Glover-Nurse of Columbus Junction, were both taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Both were wearing their seatbelts.
