HUDSON (KWWL) -

Undefeated Dike-New Hartford ran its regular season winning streak to 17-games Friday night, with a 35-7 victory over Hudson in Class 1A District 3 battle in Hudson.

The Wolverines scored on their first offensive play of the game, when Carson Parker fired a 20-yard touchdown pass to Levi Lynch for a 7-0 DNH lead.

Parker put the Wolverines ahead, 14-0, when he sneaked in from the one yard line, early in the second quarter.

Later, Gabe Eiklenborg intercepted Cameron Wright and ran 32-yards for a touchdown and a 21-0 Wolverine lead. The Wolverines intercepted Wright three times in the first half and once in the second half.

Carson Parker fired a touchdown pass to Zach Nicholson for a 28-0 lead, and also had a TD pass to Byron Fitch nullified by a penalty late in the first half. DNH led at half, 28-0.

The Wolverines went up, 35-0, before Hudson finally got on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter, on a 73-yard touchdown run by quarterback, Cameron Wright.

Dike-New Hartford went on to beat the Pirates, 35-7, to remain undefeated.

Hudson drops to 3-4 on the year and plays a non-district game at Denver next Friday, before finishing the regular season against West Fork. The Pirates still have playoff hopes, but will need to win their final District 3 match up with West Fork.

Dike-New Hartford warms up for the playoffs by playing host to West Fork next Friday, before finishing the regular season against arch rival Aplington-Parkersburg.
