Cedar Rapids Police say a dry cleaning business was robbed twice in two days.

Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said three black men walked into City Wide Cleaners at 341 Edgewood Road NW on Wednesday at around 5:25 p.m., opened the cash register and stole money while the clerk was assisting another customer, and then ran from the store.

One man is described as 18-20 years old with his hair in dreadlocks, wearing a red shirt and a white vest. The second man is described as 18 to 20 years old with short hair and wearing jeans. The third man was wearing a black Underarmour shirt and jeans and had short hair.

Hamblin says the second theft happened at around 10:19 a.m. Thursday when two men entered the store and demanded money. She says no weapon was used.

Both men are described as 20-30 years old, black men, standing about 5'4" and weighing approximately 140 pounds. One was wearing a white vest and jeans, the other a red shirt and jeans.

Hamblin says it is unknown if the two incidents are related.
