FARGO (KWWL) -

The season appears to be over for UNI junior linebacker Jake Farley.  Farley broke both bones in his lower left leg when a North Dakota State lineman fell on him during the 4th quarter of Sunday's game.

Farley remained if Fargo as the Panthers returned home Saturday night.  His father, head coach Mark Farley, also stayed as Jake underwent a successful surgical procedure.

Jake Farley had been leading UNI in tackles during the current season.
