DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

More than 100 anti-abortion demonstrators lined Highway 20 in Dubuque on Sunday as a part of a National Life Chain. On Sunday, more than 1000 cities participated in a Life Chain.  Trina Hingtgen is the Executive Assistant with Dubuque County Right to Life. Dubuque County Right to Life is a sponsor of the Dubuque Life Chain. She says she hopes the chain will help educate the public and make them more aware.

"We love people loving other people and showing them that their is help, their are ways to educate, their are ways to value one another." Hingtgen said.

This is the 20th year Dubuque has participated in the Life Chain.
