CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

A competitive game expected tonight--as Cedar Falls plays host to Cedar Rapids Prairie. The Tigers enter tonight's matchup with a 4-1 record--while Cedar Rapids Prairie's record is a deceptive 2-3 --with a loss to 2nd ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier and two close defeats to third ranked Iowa City West and a good Cedar Rapids Kennedy team.

The Cedar Falls defense making things happen early---Tiger senior Justin King comes up with this interception in the first quarter off prairie quarterback Trey Beckman. The Prairie Hawks turned the ball over four times in the first half.

Cedar Falls tried to take advantage-- a Trey Hansen pass is tipped--- and the Tigers Ben Fienup comes down with it for a 30 yard gain. But Cedar Falls got the ball in the redzone two times in the first quarter but missed two field goals--the game is still scoreless.

With 9:25 left in the first half the Trey Hanson finds a streaking Kyle Boomgarden with a 74 yard touchdown to give Cedar Falls a 7-0 lead but Prairie rallied to beat the Tigers 10-7.
