MARSHALLTOWN (KWWL) -

Marshalltown Police have released the name of man found dead on Tuesday.

Police say 59-year-old David James Warnell of Garwin was found dead in a home at 502 North 4th Avenue Tuesday evening after receiving information about a suspicious death and securing a search warrant.

Jeremy Gartin and Max Nelson Jr., were arrested. Gartin faces charges for first degree murder and carrying a concealed weapon. Nelson faces charges for accessory after the fact, first degree theft and abuse of a corpse.

Police say Warnell died from a single gunshot to the head.
