Iowa corn harvest behind schedule

Iowa’s corn harvest is falling behind schedule .

A U.S. Department of Agriculture report said only five percent of the corn had been harvested through Sunday. The report also said the state only had about six days that were suitable for field work.

At this time last year, nearly half of Iowa’s corn acres were harvested.
