UPDATE: Woman arrested, not yet charged in Sunday's homicide

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo Police have arrested a person of interest in Sunday’s homicide on West Mullan Street.

Keisha Lesha Magee, 39, of 200 East Arlington St. #104 in Waterloo, was taken into custody at 6:20 a.m. Monday for a parole violation.

Magee is being held at the Black Hawk County Jail on a no-bond warrant, according to Waterloo Police.

Police say no charges have been filed, but their investigation into a Sunday morning fatal stabbing continues.

Waterloo Police say John Ladell Bass, 29, was stabbed once in the chest around 4 a.m. Sunday. Bass died from his injuries.
