Wapsie blanks North Butler 65-0

Second-ranked Wapsie Valley traveled to North Butler to take on the Bearcats with hopes of notching their fifth victory of the season in Class-A action.

The Warriors came out hot early in the first quarter with a blocked punt by Stone Kane that Jake Goeller would return for a touchdown.

Wapsie Valley didn’t stop there, as Ryan Miller picked off a Jaret Wunsch pass, leading to a touchdown run by Stone Kane.

The Warriors continued to control the game with a punt return touchdown by Ryan Miller and two additional rushing touchdowns from Stone Kane. Ethan Kleitsch and Caleb Knipp would also score in the first half.

Wapsie Valley continued their dominant play in the second half as they rolled 62-0 to stay unbeaten.
