WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo Police have arrested a man who they say assaulted a school bus driver.

Dale Wille was making a stop on the 200 block of Halstead when Dashawn Robertson, 20, forced himself on the school bus.

According to Wille, Robertson confronted Wille about a verbal argument with Robertson's sister while she was on the bus.

"He wanted to know if I wanted it inside the bus or if I wanted to step outside the bus. And he just kept poking me in the forehead with his finger and then when I did not retaliate or didn't raise a hand, I got hit here and here on the jaw," said Wille, pointing out places where he said he was hit.

Robertson was charged with one count of first-degree burglary.
