2nd-half surge leads South Winn past Denver, 46-32

DENVER (KWWL) -

South Winneshiek started strong and finished strong to roll over Denver 46-32 in 1A District 4 play Friday night.

The third-ranked Warriors scored first on Ryan Hageman's 26-yard TD run.

Then, Garrett Bohach connected with Jordan Rommes and Rommes would take it in to make it a 16-0 lead.

QB Brayden Neuendorf led the Cyclones back with a couple of rushing TDs to make it 19-16 at the half.

But South Winn would score 30 second-half points to come back and stay unbeaten.
