Crews continue searching for missing Hampton man

HAMPTON (KWWL) - Authorities believe 22-year old Ethan Kazmerzak went missing after a party in Hampton Saturday night.
Even after five days, their search efforts have turned up empty.
Friday was yet another day of searching, this time officials said they were taking a slower more methodical approach to searching rural ravines and ditches.
"We aren't having any luck locating any evidence of his car of himself, and we don't know where he might have gone, and that's the reason why we need everybody's eyes out there looking for him to try and bring him back home," said Hampton Police Chief Robert Schaefer.
Authorities have completed aerial searches and ground searches in addition to bringing in a dive team from Story County.
"He's gone...just like he disappeared," said Schaefer.
On Friday, police said they don't know if Kazmerzak is in any danger, however, they said they do not suspect any foul play.
Still, authorities are asking people across the state to keep their eyes out for Kazmerzak who could be driving a silver 2006 Volkswagen Jetta with Iowa license plate AUZ382.
They are also asking people to download and distribute a missing poster which can be found here.
Folks with information are encouraged to call police at (641) 456-2529.
