Big Cross Country meet at Starmont

ARLINGTON (KWWL) -

Big cross country meet Tuesday night. Thirty-one teams running in the Starmont Invitational.

Five-time state track champion Nicole Miller of North Linn was dominant in the girls race.

Miller finished in 15 minutes 28 seconds --19 seconds ahead of runner up Kylie Kelchen of Cascade. 

The Cascade girls won the team title with Central Elkader in second.

On to the boys side -- another huge field -- and another dominant performance.

Josh Yeager of Center Point-Urbana -- last year's 5th place finisher at the state meet -- would lead from start to finish going 16 minutes 35 seconds -- 21 seconds better than Denver's Kyle Kehoe.

The Stormin' Pointers and Cyclones also finished first and second respectively in the team race.
