Wis. homicide suspect caught, held on $500,000 bond

IOWA COUNTY, Wis. (KWWL) - A man who had been wanted on homicide charges is currently being held in the Iowa County (Wisconsin) Jail on a $500,000 cash bail.

James Kruger, who had been wanted for charges in multiple counties in Wisconsin, was caught Tuesday by Grant County, Wis., officials.

Kruger is being held for charges stemming from an incident that happened on the day he was caught.

The charges include seven felonies, including knowingly fleeing an officer, reckless endangerment, operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent, felon in possession of a firearm, theft, false imprisonment and bomb scare, carrying a concealed weapon and operating while intoxicated under the influence of drugs.
