Wapsie Valley rallies by Denver

Throw out the records and rankings anytime rival Denver and Wapsie Valley meet on the football field..but for the record Denver comes in with a 1-1 record while Wapsie Valley won its season opener and is ranked number 2 in class A.

Wapsie Valley with the ball in the 1st quarter after a fumble recovery and #32 fullback Stone Kane goes up the gut on a 3rd and 5 from the 10 and just gets into the endzone for the Warriors to go up 7-0.

Later on in the 1st quarter Denver with the ball on a 3rd and goal from the 1 and #5 quarterback Brayden Neuendorf stretches over the goal line to put the Cyclones on the board and tie the game up at 7-all.

Early in the 2nd quarter Denver with the ball again and it's #5 again, on a 3rd and goal from the 3, Brayden Neuendorf as he rolls to his right looking to pass, finding nobody open, and then racing for the corner and fighting his way for another Cyclones touchdown to make it 14-7 Denver.

Wapsie Valley ties it up later in the 2nd quarter after an interception, as the Warriors hit pay dirt on a 3rd and 6 from the Denver 8, #32 fb Stone Kane scores his 2nd td of the game to tie it up 14-all at halftime.

Wapsie Valley goes on to win 35-21.
