The Sailor student section traveled well and was having a great time tonight.
With just nine seconds left in the first quarter, the pitch went to McLaughlin, who throws it to Paul Sink for the 58-yard touchdown.
The extra point was blocked -- it was 20 to 7 Columbus at the half.
But Independence came storming back in the second half to win 35 to 20.
