Iowa City Police looking for a suspect accused of beating and robbing a person

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City Police are looking for a suspect who helped beat and rob a person on August 22.

Police say they have a warrant for Parrish Bennett, who is accused of robbery in the second degree.

Authorities believe Bennett is the accomplice of Corlandis Chester, who was arrested on August 30th on a charge for robbery in the second degree.

Bennett is 25 years old, 5 foot 11 inches and 190 pounds.

CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to Bennett’s arrest. CrimeStoppers can be reached at 358-TIPS (8477).
