Independence man enters guilty plea in sex assault investigation

INDEPENDENCE (KWWL) - An Independence man accused of Third Degree Kidnapping and Assault With Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse has entered a guilty plea.
Matthew Noack  entered the plea Wednesday in Buchanan County for an incident stemming from January 2013.
Authorities say Noack followed a woman from a bar early in the morning in January before he grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.
Noack is scheduled to be sentenced November 12, at 9:30 a.m. He could spend up to 10 years in prison.
