Police are searching for a man who escaped from the Waterloo Work Release Facility on Monday.
Lloyd Allen III, 20, was allowed to leave temporarily, but he never returned. Allen was serving time for Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury and Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon.
The escape notice sent by the Department of Corrections described him as being six feet tall, and weighing 218 pounds. He has a tattoo on his left forearm.
