Friday Night Football: Week 1 is here!

Posted: Updated:
Week 1 is tonight, and KWWL once again has a herd of sports journalists, reporters and photographers ready to head out to a dozen of the biggest high school football games in eastern Iowa for Friday Night Football.

The Game of the Week for Week 1: South Winneshiek vs. Nashua-Plainfield (as voted on by you!).

We'll be getting final scores from a variety of sources and posting them here. If you know your school's score before we do, we want you to send it our way.

You can do that by emailing kwwlnews@kwwl.com, calling KWWL Sports at (319) 291-1290 or sending a tweet using #kwwlFNF. Make sure to include both schools and the final score next to each (example: Davenport 14, Cedar Falls 21). And if you've got a photo from the game, we'll share it!

We're looking forward to the 2013 season, and we can't wait to bring you full game recaps, highlights and stats starting tonight -- right here on KWWL.
