WAVERLY (KWWL) -

A Waverly man is still apparently in the hospital after authorities say he fell off of a grain bin Wednesday afternoon.

Mark Mueller, 54, of Waverly, was performing maintenance at the top of a grain bin west of the Sale Barn on 220th Street when he slipped and fell about 40 feet to the ground, according to the Bremer County Sheriff's Office.

He was taken to the Waverly Hospital with several injuries.

Sheriff Dan Pickett said no condition update was available on Mueller, but that it did not appear that any equipment had malfunctioned in the accident.
