House fire in Cedar Rapids deemed intentional

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

A fire in the 900 block of Maplewood Drive NE in Cedar Rapids Tuesday morning has been determined to be set intentionally.

According to officials with the Fire Department, the abandoned home at 932 Maplewood Drive NE had been targeted in a burglary and the fire was then intentionally set.

The case is still under investigation.
