DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

One man is in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after a crash on Highway 20 in Dubuque.

It happened Monday afternoon just before 1:15. Authorities say 27-year-old Joseph Manos was trying to turn from Highway 20 onto Swiss Valley Road. Authorities say he hit a motorcycle traveling the opposite direction.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 44 year old Jeffrey Ernzen of Epworth, was thrown from the vehicle, and the motorcycle hit another vehicle driven by 24-year-old Amber Fitzpatrick. Both Fitzpatrick and Manos were not injured.

Ernzen was taken to Mercy Hospital, and then flown to the University of Iowa Hospitals in Clinics. His condition is unknown at this time.
