Dunkerton drops Central City 40-22

Posted: Updated:

The Dunkerton Raiders opened their 2013 in winning fashion taking down Central City 40-22 Friday night.

The Raiders stormed out of the gate with quarterback Lane Johnson hitting Calvin Rindels on a 12 yard strike for an early 6-0 lead.  They'd add a 4 yard touchdown from Mar'yo Lindsey and a 2 point conversion for a 14-0 edge after the first quarter.

Dunkerton would fight off a couple of Central City strikes, and just before half Johnson and Gage Brant would connect on another scoring strike of 10 yards as the Raiders cruised to the victory in the end.
