Coe is picked to repeat as IIAC Football Champion

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Defendingleague champion Coe College, which captured its first outright title and fourthcrown overall last season is the favorite to capture the 2013 Iowa Conference football title. The Kohawks received six of seven possible first-place votes (coaches are not allowed to rank their own team) for a total of 54 points. WartburgCollege did not receive a first-place vote but was named second of seven ballots and is second in the Preseason Poll with 47 points.

 

Central Collegesits third with 43 points, followed by University of Dubuque (37 points) and SimpsonCollege (36). The Storm and Dutch split the two remaining first-place votes. The complete 2013 IIAC football coaches' poll follows:
