Cedar Valley-area canines and their owners took part in the annual doggie dip at the Falls Aquatic Center.
It's a fundraiser for the City of Cedar Falls Recreation Division.
For two hours, pooches could swim, paddle, jump, slide to their heart's content.
The center closed for the summer Sunday.
"The staff afterwards will go around the grass and pick up things that shouldn't be there. We could almost make a couple of fur coats for all the hair coming into our hair screens but for the little bit of extra time, it's worth it. A lot of people with dogs that normally don't show up to the facility, they see how nice it is and this might bring them back without their dogs next season," said Cedar Falls Recreation Division Manager Bruce Verink.
More than 200 dogs took a dip Monday evening.
Byrnes Pool in Waterloo will hold its doggie dip Sunday evening.
