It was a scenic view of art along the Mississippi river in downtown Bellevue on Saturday afternoon; as many gathered in celebration of the cities annual Fishtival. During the Fishtival different artists from around the area placed their work on display for the public.

People are then able to walk along the river to see those works, and even purchase them if they desire. This year the Fishtival also featured a re-enactment of the infamous Bellevue War of 1840 was also performed in front of a crowed of many.

"Everybody has a good time, everybody sees different things," said Dave Eischeid, President of the Bellevue Arts Council. "We try to invite different menus of people and artists to come here."

After the war re-enactment Saturday, a new wall mural was revealed in the downtown area. Bellevue's Fishtival will continue on Sunday, August 17th.
