CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -
Food, rides, and games are on tap at a Cedar Rapids festival this weekend. It's the 38th annual St. Jude's Sweet Corn Festival. The event is the church's largest festival of the year.
It's free admission. You just have to pay to ride the rides or play the games and for any of the food you eat, including the famous sweet corn the festival is named after.
"Our hopes is just for everybody to come out and have a really good time," said Michael Glynn, Festival Chairperson. "We kind of pride ourselves on being a very family friendly and family affordable place to go. Our prices we try to keep as low as possible so that anybody can come."
