The Waterloo Bucks defeated Battle Creek 6-2 Friday night, setting a new Northwoods League record with their 51st win.
After going hitless in the first three innings, the Bucks broke out in the 4th on a Jake Mahon base hit to left scoring Austin Pernell. Waterloo scored 3 in the inning taking a lead they would not relinquish.
Jon Ziznewski went 2 for 3 in the game with 2 runs and 2 RBI's to lead the offense. TJ Renda picked up the winning giving up 1 run in 3 innings of relief work.
