Iowa City police investigate early morning robbery

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City police are looking for a suspect wanted in an early morning mugging.

Police say it happened at around 2:30 Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Bittersweet Court. 

The victim told officers two men walked up to him, hit him in the face and took money from his pocket.

The suspects are described as two African American males, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.  

People with information are asked to call Iowa City police at 319-356-5275.
