DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

A Dubuque woman pleaded guilty Friday morning to the crime of prostitution, an aggravated misdemeanor in the state of Iowa.

Officials arrested Yihan Wang in May, following an investigation at the Asian Massage Parlor and subsequent prostitution sting.

District associate judge Mark Hostager sentenced Wang to 82 days in jail but credited her for the 82 days she had already spent in jail awaiting court proceedings, so she is no longer behind bars.

Judge Hostager also imposed a $625 fine and $218.75 surcharge, both of which he suspended.
