WEST BRANCH (KWWL) -

There was a patriotic flair in West Branch for Hoover Days at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum. The celebration honors the only president from the state of Iowa.

As a part of the celebration, admission to all exhibits at the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum was free. That includes the chance to see George Washington's personal copy of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, which is touring the country.

"What makes this unique is that Washington went through the Constitution under the executive powers and made notes," said Tom Schwartz, director of the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum.

It will be on display at the museum until August 11. The library is open daily 9-5 p.m.
