Three people injured in Clayton County crash

CLAYTON COUNTY (KWWL) -

Three people are in the hospital after a one-vehicle crash in Clayton County.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Grandview Road, just east of Highway 13.

The Iowa State Patrol reports the driver, Donald Maker, 23, of Elkader, lost control, causing the car to go into the ditch and roll several times.

Maker and two passengers were all thrown from the car.

Maker was taken by Air Care to Iowa City, according to officials.

Passenger Dominique Sauebry, 25, of Edgewood was also taken to Iowa City, and passenger Samantha Koch, 17, of Manchester, was taken to the hospital in Elkader, according to reports.

Their conditions were unknown at this time.
