The Cedar Rapids Police Department has released the names of two people killed on Saturday when the motorcycle they were on hit a truck.
Officers were called to southbound I-380, near the Wilson Avenue SW exit ramp, at around 1:09 a.m. Saturday for a report of an accident.
Police say 32-year-old Marc Stober, of Cedar Rapids, lost control of his motorcycle and hit the rear end of a semi truck. Stober and his passenger, 22-year-old Amelia Kutella, also of Cedar Rapids, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi, Mark Graves of Illinois, was not hurt.
