Dubuque...and All That Jazz fills downtown Dubuque with music

Posted: Updated:

The sound of music filled downtown Dubuque Friday evening as Dubuque...and All That Jazz took place at the Town Clock plaza. The Friday night concerts have been taking place in downtown Dubuque since 1992.

Dan LoBianco is Executive Director of Dubuque Main Street. He says the concerts have come along way since 1992.

"Back then it was just to get people back downtown. Now it really is a community celebration." LoBianco said.

A Chicago based band called "The Business" brought people together at the plaza to socialize, relax and dance.

"You got your close tight group of friends, but you also see those people that you see a couple of times a year," LoBianco said. "It's a place where you can socialize, have a beverage with them, have great food, and listen to great music." .

Friday's concert was the second of four concerts that take place June through September. The next concert will feature the band Viva Brazil! And take place Friday, August 16th.
