UPDATE WITH NAME: Body pulled from Iowa River in Iowa City

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Officials have named the man whose body was found in the Iowa River.

Emergency personnel responded to a 911 call at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday about a person who had fallen into the river near the Highway 6 bridge in Iowa City.

The body of Perry John Graham, 54, was recovered a short time later.

Graham's remains were transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where an autopsy is pending, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.

Iowa City Police and Fire, Johnson County Emergency Management, Johnson County Ambulance and the Johnson County Medical Examiner's Office assisted the Sheriff's Office in recovery operations.
