Waterloo teen faces drug and weapon charges

A Waterloo teen faces drug and weapon charges after a traffic stop.

Waterloo police say officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Hope Street around 11:30 Tuesday night.

They say the driver, James Edward Horton, 19, of Waterloo, was arrested. Officers say Horton was carrying marijuana and a loaded .38 caliber revolver underneath the driver's seat.

Horton is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and carrying weapons.
