The Boys and Girls Club of Waterloo is taking kids out to George Wyth State Park to enjoy the great outdoors.
Eight girls will be spending the night camping Tuesday night. The girls will learn outdoor skills such as setting up their own tents, how to start up a campfire and have a number of different water activities planned for Wednesday. But even with all these activities the girls seem more excited about spending time with each other. "There's girls and no boys. And all of us girls finally get to have fun together, as best friends." Said 11-year-old camper Aariona Ezell.
Despite all the planned activities the girls made sure to tell us they would make time for doing their hair, make-up and nails.
