Waterloo man sentenced to Federal prison

A Waterloo man is sentenced to ten years in federal prison for weapons charge.

Thaddeus Southall, 31, pleaded guilty to one federal count of possession a firearm as a felon.

Prosecutors say in November, Southall assaulted another man at City Food and Liquor on Broadway street then shot at a nearby car full of people.

He's also accused of threatening the store clerk.
