Decorah's Olejniczak still coaching hard in his 50th season

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Another sports legend pays a visit to the Cedar Valley as Waterloo West hosts Decorah in baseball.

The great Dennis Olejniczak --the second winningest high school baseball coach in the country-- in his 50th year of coaching baseball---

Coach Olejniczak is going to have hip replacement surgery at the end of the baseball season--despite a little bit0of a limp---Olejniczak still putting on a coaching clinic..
 

Decorah leads 1-0 in the third inning--with a man on first and no outs.   The Vikings Dustin Carey rips a two run homer to left off West High starter Trenton Stoakes  to give Decorah a 3-0 lead. 

Later in the third it's Kyle Kane driving a double to left James Ostlie is going to score easily from second base as Decorah builds a 4-0 lead. and the Vikings get the job done  tonight--winning 12-4.
