UPDATE: Man drowns at George Wyth State Park

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Waterloo Police have released the name of the man who drowned in George Wyth State Park. Police say Salvador Quinto Amezcua, 32, of Waterloo died Sunday.

Police were called to the beach at George Wyth Lake in Waterloo around 5:00 Sunday afternoon. There they say Amezcua was swimming in the lake when they noticed him missing. No one witnessed him go under. He was found under water a short time later. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
