The Pink Fire Trucks "Pink Heals Tour" is arriving in the Cedar Valley on Monday July 8th. There will be three trucks arriving as part of the tour.

They will be at CVSi Motorsports, 4227 University Ave., Cedar Falls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. As well as one truck at the Covenant Cancer Treatment Center, 200 E. Ridgeway Ave., and also at the Breast Care Center at United Medical Park, 1753 W. Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo from 9 to 11 a.m. The trucks will return to the CVSi Motorsports location after 11.

The "Pink Heals Tour" is designed to celebrate life and survivorship. Women who are living with any type of cancer diagnosis are encouraged to come and sign their name on a fire truck. The Beyond Pink TEAM and American Cancer Society will be on hand with cancer programming information.

Members of the Cedar Falls Fire Department, Waterloo Fire Department, Cedar Falls Police, Waterloo Police, Sheriffs Department, Sartori Paramedics, and other area fire departments will be helping host the pink fire trucks in the Cedar Valley.

Volunteers drive pink fire trucks and pink police cars across America bringing the "Cares Enough to Wear Pink" and Pink Heals Movement to local communities in support of local women's health groups. Proceeds from Monday's event go to the Beyond Pink TEAM.
