DES MOINES (KWWL) -

The Iowa Tourism Office and nine Convention and Visitors bureaus across the state have partnered with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division to provide rolling billboards that encourage travel in Iowa.

Nine Iowa ABD trucks have been wrapped with images from cities across the state including Ames, Burlington, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City/Coralville, Newton, Okoboji, Sioux City and Waterloo.

Each truck also has a graphic promoting travel throughout the state.

Tourism in Iowa generates more than $7 billion in expenditures, employs 63,400 people statewide and generates $328 million in state taxes.

The Iowa Tourism Office is part of the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
