Dan Morrissey appeared at his hearing at the Black Hawk County Courthouse Monday afternoon to plead guilty to six charges -- mostly drug-related -- including conspiracy to manufacture meth.

Morrissey, the father of Lyric Cook, also entered an Alford plea in connection with a domestic abuse case involving Lyric's mother, Misty Morrissey. Upon entering the plea, his charge was altered to a non-domestic assault causing bodily injury.

Morrissey is currently serving a jail sentence on drug charges unrelated to the abduction and death of his daughter.

Sentencing is set for August 8.
