UPDATE: Sunday morning shooting in Waterloo injures one

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

One person is in the hospital after a shooting Sunday morning in Waterloo.

Police said it happened at 426 Ricker Street around 3:30 a.m.

The victim, 42-year-old Carlos Calhoun was taken to a local hospital for injuries to his shoulder, wrist and head but is expected to be fine.

On Monday afternoon, police announced their investigation has determined the suspect is Willie Guyton Jr. Police have also issued a warrant for his arrest, and say he faces a series of charges including willful injury and going armed with intent.
