Bucks win 7th straight, take over first in north

The Waterloo Bucks extended their current winning streak to 8 straight with a 7-1 win over Thunder Bay Saturday night.  The win moved the Bucks into sole possession of first in the NWL north division a half game ahead of the Willmar Stingers.

The Bucks got a big game out of shortstop John Ziznewski who went 3 for 4 on the night with a pair of RBI's.  Ziznewski drove both runs in during a 3 run 6th to put the game away for good.

On the mound, Waterloo starter Tyler Peyton got done.  Peyton went 5 innings, striking out 6, while allowing 0 runs.

The Bucks will look to extend their winning streak to 8 straight with a 3:05 home game against Thunder Bay on Sunday.
