DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

One of the only drum corps in Iowa showed off their talent Saturday night at Loras College in Dubuque. The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps in Dubuque held its third annual summer premiere.

The premiere featured music from both the Colts as well as the Colts junior group, the Colts Cadets. Many came out to support the 220+ members of the Colts and Colts Cadets in their performance.

Greg Orwoll is the director of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. He says the Corps focuses on making sure each and every person succeeds not only in music but in life.

"We are really focused on making sure that each and every young person in our program is successful. The challenges are abundant, there are days when the kids don't feel that they could possibly do the work and yet they will tackle it." Orwoll said.

After Saturday's performance, the Colts make their way to Kalamazoo, Michigan for their first of more than 20 competitions this season.
